PennDOT Deploys Extensive Fleet for Winter Road Maintenance

PennDOT utilizes an impressive fleet of 2,350 vehicles, including trucks, plows, and salt spreaders, supplemented by additional rented vehicles. This extensive fleet is tasked with maintaining over 95,000 snow-lane miles across Pennsylvania, ensuring roads are safe and navigable throughout the winter months.
