The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT), the Pennsylvania DUI Association, and law enforcement agencies across Pennsylvania are conducting Operation Sober Shamrock, an impaired-driving enforcement campaign running March 5–17.
The St. Patrick’s Day enforcement effort is aimed at reducing injuries and fatalities caused by DUI crashes.
Officials are encouraging drivers to plan a sober ride home and avoid driving under the influence during the holiday period.
