PennDOT Reminds Drivers to Check for Open Vehicle Recalls

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) is reminding drivers to check their vehicles for open safety recalls. According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), 25% of vehicle safety recalls are never repaired.

Unrepaired recalls can pose risks to drivers, passengers, and others on the road. Vehicle owners can check for open recalls and schedule free repairs by visiting NHTSA.gov/Recalls.

PennDOT encourages all motorists to ensure their vehicles are up to date on safety repairs.
