The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation is reminding drivers to make room for cyclists on the road.
Under Pennsylvania law, drivers must give bicyclists at least four feet of space when passing. Drivers may cross a double yellow line to pass a bicycle only when it is safe to do so.
PennDOT says safety is a shared responsibility and encourages motorists to allow enough space when passing cyclists.
