PennDOT Schedules Franklin County Road Maintenance for Aug. 31-Sept. 4

PennDOT’s Franklin County office has scheduled road maintenance work on several roads in Fannett and Guilford townships during the week of Aug. 31 through Sept. 4.

In Fannett Township, seal coating is scheduled on Back Road, State Route 4007, on Monday and Tuesday. Seal coating is also planned for Neelyton Road, State Route 641, on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Cold Springs/Anderson Road, State Route 4006, is scheduled for seal coating on Thursday and Friday.

In Guilford Township, base repair work is scheduled on Golf Course Road, State Route 2026, on Monday and Tuesday.

Base repairs are also planned on Fetterhoff Chapel Road, State Route 2021, on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

Flagging will be used for traffic control at each work location.

The schedule is subject to change due to weather conditions, emergencies or other unforeseen interruptions. Motorists are advised to use caution when traveling through work zones.

Franklin County Schedules Mosquito Spray For Hamilton Township

Residential and recreational areas in Hamilton Township will be sprayed for adult mosquitoes beginning around sunset on Sept. 8.  Areas to be sprayed include but are not limited to: Sollenberger Road, Johnson Road, Leedy Drive, Holly Lane, Hamilton
