Pennsylvania Department of Health Highlights Naloxone’s Role in Reversing Opioid Overdoses

The Pennsylvania Department of Health is reminding residents that naloxone can reverse an opioid overdose.

According to the department, naloxone helps a person begin breathing again within one or two minutes after it is administered during an opioid overdose.

The department is directing residents to additional information about how naloxone works and what steps to take during an overdose emergency.

Franklin County Schedules Mosquito Spray For Hamilton Township
