Pennsylvania Families Urged to Review School Health Requirements

The Pennsylvania Department of Health is reminding families to review required health exams and immunizations ahead of the new school year.

Families with children entering kindergarten, third, sixth, seventh, 11th or 12th grade should check the state’s health requirements before school begins. The reminder also applies to students who are new to a school.

Pennsylvania requires certain health examinations and immunizations for students depending on their grade level.
