Cumberland Valley Animal Shelter has lots of adorable pets who are looking for forever homes.

CVAS encourages anyone interested in bringing a four-legged friend into their home to check out the wonderful animals available for adoptions at the shelter.

Pets find themselves homeless for a wide variety of reasons and in need of a new home and a second chance. So if you are looking for a new furry best friend, check out the shelter’s many residents. Any of them would make a great pet and wonderful companion.

Meet Bogie

Breed: Terrier Mix
Coat Length: Short
Health: Vaccinations up to date, spayed/neutered

Bogie was brought into the shelter as a stray, so we know very little about his past. He is around 2 years old and is a very energetic guy!

He does have a lot of terrier behavior, so potential adopters may benefit from terrier experience. Bogie can get very rough with play so rough playing is not advised.

The Chamber Staff is always available to talk with you about how your business could greatly benefit from membership.

Bogie will need someone that can take him on regular walks and would probably make someone a great hiking partner! He loves to take in all the smells!

Bogie may be too much for small children so an age restriction for children in the home may apply, please discuss this with shelter staff.

Bogie would love to meet you and see if you are the one for him.

Meet Esther Williams

Esther Williams
Esther Williams

Breed: Terrier & Boxer Mix
Coat Length: Short
House Trained: Yes
Health: Vaccinations up to date, spayed/neutered

Esther Williams arrived at the shelter as a stray, so we know very little about her past.

Esther is around 11 years old and is a super sweet girl! She is laid back and loves to sleep in the sun! She loves attention and will make someone a wonderful companion!

Meet Minnie

Breed:  Guinea Pig
Coat Length: Long

Minnie was surrendered to the shelter because her owner no longer had time to take care of Minnie and her roommate. Minnie and her roommate were pretty dirty when they came into the shelter so their fur is still a little stained.

These girls are a little on the spooky side but they are still adjusting to being in a noisy shelter. Minnie and Pleua would love to find a loving forever home together soon!
