CHAMBERSBURG — Pennsylvania State Police today identified a man who died in a two-vehicle crash on Lincoln Way West as Herbert Clugston, 78, of St. Thomas.
Police have not yet released the names of three other people injured in the crash.
Clugston was westbound on Lincoln Way when his pickup truck crossed into the eastbound lane and hit an oncoming SUV shortly before 5:30 p.m.
A family member told a Franklin County Free Press representative that Clugston suffered a heart attack.
A woman driving the eastbound vehicle was flown to Penn State Hershey Medical Center for treatment. Police said her injuries were minor.
The two passengers in her vehicle, a 71-year-old man and a 23-year-old woman, were taken to area hospitals.
