Police Log: Help Reunite Brown Boxer With Owner

Police reports this week range from a dog found in Shippensburg to a hit and run reported in Chambersburg, a DUI and a drug bust in Waynesboro.


Shippensburg Police Log

LOST DOG: A brown female Boxer was located in the 200 block of S. Fayette St. without a collar or tags. Anyone with information about its owner can call the Shippensburg Police Dept. at 717-532-7361


Chambersburg Police Log

HIT AND RUN: Chambersburg Police took a report of a Hit and Run Monday afternoon. 

A man riding his bicycle to work at Giant on Norland Avenue around 4:15 p.m. was hit by a white Nissan sedan, Chambersburg le id.  This accident occurred near the Red Robin in the Giant shopping complex,  The striking vehicle turned right in front of the bicyclist, and struck his front tire, knocking him over.

The vehicle was turning onto the roadway directly to the rear of Red Robin and left the area towards Chipotle.

The victim received a minor injury.

Waynesboro Police Log

DRUG CHARGES: Joenny J. Marte, 20, Hagerstown, Maryland, has been charged with one count each of possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a small amount of marijuana after a traffic stop was conducted on October 18 at 5:39 p.m. on West Main Street.

DUI: Jongsang Lee, 21, Hagerstown, Maryland, has been charged with four counts of driving under the influence of alcohol and/or a controlled substance and one count of possession of drug paraphernalia after a traffic stop was conducted on September 22 at 2:55 a.m. on S. Potomac Street.
