Chambersburg police had good news and bad news this week. A local runaway is back home. But in spite of a holiday spirit around town, criminals continue their dirty work.

RUNAWAY SAFE! A boy who ran away from his Chambersburg home Dec. 9 returned home Monday.

William Creech was missing from his Chambersburg home since Dec. 9.

Police said William Creech left home Dec. 9 and had been reported as a runaway.

ASSAULT: Chambersburg Police Department has an active warrant for Corey Williams, 37, for Strangulation, Terroristic Threats and Simple Assault.

Anyone with information pertaining to Corey Williams is asked to contact CPD or submit a tip through the CRIMEWATCH® website.

VANDALISM: Vandals threw eggs on a vehicle parked in the 700 block of Fairground Avenue sometime overnight Saturday.

FOUND: A driver’s license belonging to Betsaida Fuentes was recovered in the 700 block of Philadelphia Avenue Saturday.

The owner can claim the license at the Chambersburg Police Station located at 116 S 2nd St, Chambersburg, PA.

BURGLARY: Chambersburg Police are investigating a burglary at Chambersburg Affordable Auto, 422 Loudon Street sometime over the weekend. A vehicle was stolen from the parking lot sometime between 4 p.m. Saturday through 8:30 a.m. Monday. The stolen vehicle was recovered near the intersection of Mont Alto Road and Spring Road.

Anyone with information relevant to this investigation is asked to contact the Chambersburg Police. 

HIT AND RUN: Chambersburg Police took a report of a hit and run at 331 Fifth Avenue.  The victim reported that sometime between 3 p.m. Sunday and 11:30 p.m. Monday, someone sideswiped his silver 2014 Ford Focus. The car was struck on the driver’s side by an unknown vehicle, possibly gold in color.  The suspect will be missing the passenger side mirror.
