FRANKLIN COUNTY — Area police departments are investigating a hit and run incident, criminal mischief complaint and have a found bicycle that is ready to be claimed by the owner.
HIT AND RUN – On July 26 at 8:06 p.m., a hit and run occurred on Penn Street. The Waynesboro Police Department is attempting to identify the vehicle in the attached photo. The truck struck a parked car and left the scene.

FOUND BICYCLE – On 7/28/19 a red Mongoose Outerlimit BMX style bicycle was found in the Conococheague Creek near Loudon Street.
The owner of the bicycle can claim it at the Chambersburg Police Station.
CRIMINAL MISCHIEF – On July 27th 2019, a citizen reported damage to a mailbox in the 600 block of North Franklin St. The damage occurred on the same date between 9:15 AM and 10:30 AM.
