A proposal has been made to build a Wawa convenience store and gas station in Franklin County. Zoning requests for the building have been granted, which included business identification signs for Paramount Realty and Wawa.
There still will be some time before work begins. A formal land development plan needs to be submitted to the planning and zoning commission to then move for Borough Council consideration. From reports it appears that the process will take at least the next three months.
The new location would be built on Wayne avenue at the location of Sakura, where Denny’s used to reside.
