Richard Delmolino obituary 1939~2023


Richard Delmolino, 83, of Gettysburg, PA, formerly of Pittsfield, MA and Bonita Springs, FL died Monday, January 16, 2023 at his home surrounded by his loving family.

Born July 26, 1939, Richard was the son of Emilio and Faustina (Serra) Delmolino and the husband of Linda L (Castellini) Delmolino of Gettysburg to whom he was married for 61 years.

After graduating from Pittsfield High School he joined the Army, and came home to marry his high school sweetheart.

Richard retired from his career as a structural and mechanical engineer. He enjoyed golf, but flying radio-controlled airplanes and singing barbershop, especially with his quartet “Just Four Friends”, were his passions. His greatest joy was spending time with his family.

In addition to his wife Linda, Richard is survived by his two children, Sandra Lindenfelzer and husband Paul of Tyngsboro, MA, Kevin Delmolino and wife Wendy of Walkersville, MD, four grandchildren, Paul Lindenfelzer IV and wife Ainsley, Richard Lindenfelzer and fiancée Eric, Amy Torigian and husband Timothy, Kevin Delmolino, Jr. and one great grandchild, Elodie Lindenfelzer.

He was proceeded in death by his sister-in-law, Eileen Castellini.

Funeral services, being handled by the Monahan Funeral Home, will be private and at the convenience of the family.
