Richard R “Rich” Concini obituary 1948~2022


Richard R “Rich” Concini, 73, of Enola, passed away May 12, 2022 in UPMC, West Shore, Harrisburg.  He was the beloved husband and best friend of Beverly (McGee) Concini.

Born October 27, 1948 in Atlas, PA, he was a the son of the late Joseph and Pearl  (Richard)  Concini.  Graduating  from Mount Carmel High School in 1966 he honorably served in the US Army from 1968 to 1970.

Rich had a 35 year career with the PA State Treasury Dept., until retiring.  He was a Trustee and Steward of AFSCME, Local 972.

He was a member of the Atlas Legion, the DER Golf League and the Bullshooters Dart League.  In addition, Rich was a past member of the Atlas Fire Company and the Sharpshooters Dart League.  He attended the Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Camp Hill. 

He was an avid sports fan of the San Diego Chargers, Los Angeles Lakers, LA Clippers, LA Dodgers, LA Angels, the LA Rams and the Pitt Panthers.

He and Beverly had many good times at their favorite vacation places, Ocean City, MD, Isle of Palms, SC and Cowans Gap State Park.

Surviving, in addition to his wife, are 2 sisters, Mary Capaldi of Melbourne, FL and  Lois Clark, (Thomas), of Selinsgrove,  brother and sister-in-laws, Larry and Lucy McGee of Shippensburg, Ronald and Pat McGee of Concord, Larry and Beatrice Bryan of Spring Run, and William and Barbara Baker of Shippensburg, and 11 nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by 2 brothers, John and Victor Concini, 2 sisters, Connie Lynch and Priscilla Kobelis and brother-in-law, Glenn McGee.

Graveside services in Path Valley Cemetery will be private with Pastor Marlin “Butch” Neil officiating concluding with military honors.
