Robert “Lynn” Taylor, 61, of Waynesboro, PA, passed away Wednesday, May 11, 2022, after a long battle with cancer.

He was born February 25, 1961 in Winchester, VA, the son of the of the late Robert and Mary Lou Taylor.

Lynn was a volunteer fire fighter in high school and also served 15 years in the United States Army, serving during the Gulf War. He worked outside for many years at the Washington County Transfer Station, where he was a supervisor. He enjoyed home cooking, BBQing, listening to county music with his beloved wife, and Great Danes: Attie, Bocephus, and Merle.

He was a devoted husband, dad, and granddad.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia “Trish” (Regan) Taylor; brother Jeffrey Taylor; sisters: Beth (Jeff) Taylor and Lisa Adller; two sons: Kris (Ashley) Ashley Taylor, of West Palm Beach, FL, Nick Taylor of Las Vegas, NV; step daughter, Jessica (Josh) Morton of Owensboro, KY; stepson Antonio Marie IV, of Owensboro, KY; stepdaughter, Jennifer (Kirk) Bricker, of Waynesboro, PA. Jennifer holds a special place in Lynn’s heart, she was the daughter that he never had but loved dearly. Grandchildren: Autumn Taylor, Dylan Taylor, Nathan Taylor, Valerie Taylor, Neil Taylor, Tyler Morton, Kayden Morton, Briella Morton, Lil Tony Marie, Isabella Marie, Amanita Marie, Trenton Freeman, Kylie Freeman and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
