Roberta G Winkleman, 71, of Mercersburg, PA, passed away Friday morning, November 26, 2021 at the Chambersburg Hospital.
Born November 3, 1950 in Champion, OH, she was a daughter of the late Robert and Evelyn Jean Harsh Dollison.
Roberta graduated from high school in Champion and was a homemaker most of her life. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and the Relief Society.
She will be remembered as a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who loved spending time with her family talking, playing games, and sharing scripture.
She loved sports and was a diehard fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Ohio State Buckeyes. She enjoyed dancing and at one time taught dance lessons. Roberta regularly supported disabled veterans’ organizations.
She is survived by her daughters, Laura Peterson (Richard) of Mercersburg and Suzan Casto (David) of Chillicothe, OH; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; her brother; and many nieces and nephews who considered her to be their Nana.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Mary and Carol.
Services will be private.
