Robinson honored by DL Martin

The D.L. Martin Co. recognized Chris Robinson as Employee of the Month for March. Chris lives in Mercersburg and has been with the company for 41 years. He is a Machine Operator in Building 4. His supervisor, Jeff Edwards, is a Production Supervisor who has been with D.L. Martin Co. for 23 years.

Chris suggested changing the raw material length of 5 Sch 40 pipe used for elevator jack cylinders. Changing the length from 42’ to 45’ eliminates the excessive amount of drop generated when sawing the pipe.
Scott Biddinger, Dennis Hicks and Jason Rhoadeswere recognized for suggestions implemented in March through the company’s Continual Improvement Program.
D.L. Martin Co. provides precision machined components, fabricated components and assemblies to the elevator, heavy truck, mining, HVAC, construction, energy and agriculture industries. The company also provides Level 1 components and assemblies to the U.S. Government.
