Sandra K “Sandy” Corwell, 75 of Chambersburg, PA, passed away Wednesday, March 29, 2023 at Wellspan York Hospital surrounded by her loving family.

Born April 7, 1947 in Waynesboro, she was the daughter of the late Alvin O. Sellers and Julia E. Black Goshorn.

Sandy had worked at the Newberry’s, McCrory’s, Nichol’s, and Wal-Mart. She was last employed at the Franklin County Vo-Tech School.

She was a member of Antrim Assembly of God in Greencastle. She loved spending time with her family and cooking for them. Sandy enjoyed her flowers and spending time at the cabin and at the beach.

She is survived by her loving husband of 59 years Allen “Cork” Corwell whom she married November 28, 1963; three daughters, Robin L. Corwell Noel of Fayetteville, Rhonda S. Vandrew and husband Erik of Chambersburg, and Renee A. Bingaman and husband Jason of Harrisburg; four grandchildren, David A. Noel, Amber M. Noel, Brant T. Bingaman, and Nathan T. Bingaman; and two great-grandchildren, Trenton and Easton. She is also survived by two brothers, Larry Sellers and wife Jane and Steve Sellers and wife Bonnie, all of Chambersburg.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, William O. Sellers.

A service to celebrate Sandy’s life will be held at 5 p.m. Tuesday, April 4, 2023 in the Chapel of Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg, PA. Rev. Renee Berkey will officiate.

The family will receive friends from 4-5 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home and at a reception immediately following the service.
