Save a Life Training Sessions to Be Held Across County

FRANKLIN COUNTY (Aug. 27, 2019) — Three Operation Save a Life training is scheduled for September in Waynesboro, Greencastle and Chambersburg.

The training teaches private citizens how to use Narcan, or generic naloxone, to save the lives of drug overdose victims.

The sessions are open to all interested County residents.

Registration is required and space is limited. Registered participants are eligible to receive one dose of Narcan, the medication used to reverse an overdose, at the conclusion of the training.

Preregistration is requested, online registrations will close 48 hours before the session start time. A minimum number of participants are required to hold a session.
