Schreiber Foods to Expand Shippensburg Facility, Add 47 Jobs

Schreiber Foods is investing $132.9 million to expand its facility in Shippensburg, according to Cumberland County.

The expansion will add new yogurt production lines and increase processing capacity at the facility.

County officials said the project is expected to create 47 new full-time jobs over the next three years.

Once the expansion is complete, the facility will use an additional 109,000 pounds of milk each day.

Cumberland County said the increased milk demand will support dairy farmers and strengthen the agriculture industry.

Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development Secretary Rick Siger and Department of Agriculture Secretary Russell Redding visited Cumberland County to tour the facility and mark the investment.
