Senior Pantry Day Set for October 19 in Greencastle

The Franklin County Area Agency on Aging and Helping Hands and Caring Hearts will host Franklin County Senior Pantry Day on Monday, October 19, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Greencastle Senior Activity Center.

Franklin County residents age 60 and older can receive a free food box containing nonperishable items, fruits, vegetables and meats. Hygiene products will also be available to those in need.

Grant funding requirements limit attendance to individuals age 60 and older. Caregivers accompanying a senior may attend, but other individuals under 60 will not be permitted in the building.
