Shapiro’s overspending will cost you

The state budget deadline is less than two weeks away. From now until then, legislators will negotiate and discuss what they believe taxpayer dollars should be spent on.

If Governor Shapiro had his way, taxpayers would pay for a $51.5 billion budget, an 8.1% price tag increase from last year.

The problem? Pennsylvania has no way to pay for a spending jump this high.

Our state is already facing a $3.6 billion deficit. This trend of spending more than the state brings in leaves Pennsylvania in a very dangerous financial state. If Shapiro’s budget is adopted, Pennsylvania’s deficit will spike to $4.8 billion. We cannot afford the tax hikes that will result – potentially $1,900 for the average family of four!

Negotiations are underway as we speak. We need your help to let lawmakers know that Pennsylvanians don’t want Shapiro’s fiscally irresponsible budget!

Take action NOW to say NO to Gov. Shapiro’s Spending Spree!
