Shay Kolivoski named PSAC Eastern Division Volleyball Defensive Athlete of the Week

Shippensburg University senior libero Shay Kolivoski was named the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Volleyball Eastern Division Defensive Athlete of the Week on Monday.

Kolivoski was also named Libero of the Tournament at the 2026 Tony Banner Memorial Classic hosted by Clarion. She totaled 68 digs, 26 assists and six service aces during the tournament.

She recorded double-digit digs in all four matches, including a season-high 22 digs in a sweep of Franklin Pierce.

Kolivoski added 19 digs and 10 assists in Shippensburg’s four-set win over West Virginia Wesleyan. It marked her 83rd career match and the second time she recorded double-digit digs and assists in the same match.

The weekly honor is the eighth of Kolivoski’s career. She is the first Shippensburg player to receive the PSAC East Defensive Athlete of the Week award since her previous selection on Nov. 3, 2025.

Franklin County Schedules Mosquito Spray For Hamilton Township
