SHIP U. Baseball at the 2026 PSAC Championships

The Shippensburg University baseball team will travel to Slippery Rock this week for the 2026 Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Baseball Championships.

The tournament is scheduled for Wednesday through Saturday at Jack Critchfield Park.

Shippensburg, the Eastern Division No. 3 seed, will face IUP, the Western Division No. 2 seed, in its opening game Thursday at 8 p.m.

Live video and statistics for all tournament games will be provided by the Slippery Rock Sports Info office.

The teams last met at the 2024 PSAC Tournament, also held at Jack Critchfield Park. IUP defeated Shippensburg 3-2 in that matchup, eliminating the Raiders from the tournament. IUP later advanced to the NCAA Division II College World Series that season.

The 2026 PSAC Tournament will use a single-elimination format. In past seasons, the tournament used a double-elimination format after the first day.

This marks Shippensburg’s fifth consecutive PSAC Tournament appearance and its 14th under head coach Matt Jones.

The Raiders are 13-21 in PSAC Tournament games under Jones. Shippensburg is seeking its first conference championship since 2007.
