SHIP U. Football has three players earn 2025 All-PSAC Eastern Division recognition

Three Shippensburg University football players were named to the 2025 All-Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Eastern Division Football Teams, announced Wednesday.

Linebacker Nate Myers was selected to the First Team, while defensive back DJ Jackson and defensive lineman Eli Rodriguez earned Second Team honors. Voting was conducted by the league’s head coaches.

Myers ranked third in the PSAC with 14.5 tackles for loss and fourth in total tackles with 102, adding three interceptions. His totals are the highest by a Shippensburg player since 2022.

Jackson finished fourth in the conference with 10 passes defended (nine breakups and one interception). He recorded 55 tackles this season and ranks in Shippensburg’s top 10 all-time with 30 career passes defended.

Rodriguez led the Raiders with four sacks and two forced fumbles, adding five quarterback hurries and 27 tackles in his first season.

This marks the first All-PSAC recognition for all three players and the most honorees for Shippensburg since 2023.

Kutztown, the unbeaten Eastern Division champion, claimed three of the four major PSAC East awards: quarterback Judd Novak was named Offensive Athlete of the Year, linebacker Brandon Hile earned Defensive Athlete of the Year, and Jim Clements was named Coach of the Year. Bloomsburg’s Declan Clancy received Freshman of the Year honors.
