SHIP U.’s Emma Albee named to 2025-26 PSAC Fall Top 10

Shippensburg University graduate Emma Albee (Basking Ridge, N.J./Ridge) was named a recipient of the 2025–26 Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Fall Top 10 Award on Wednesday.

The PSAC Top 10 Awards recognize student-athletes who maintain a cumulative grade-point average of 3.50 or higher and are starters or key reserves with notable athletic achievements. Five men and five women are selected following each competitive season.

Albee is the starting goaltender for Shippensburg’s 2025 NCAA Division II championship field hockey team and a strategic communications graduate student. She holds a 3.94 cumulative GPA as a graduate student after earning a 3.60 GPA as an undergraduate. Albee graduated cum laude in May 2025 with a degree in communications, journalism and media, with a concentration in public relations.

The 2025–26 female Fall Top 10 honorees represent field hockey, cross country, soccer, and volleyball. Albee was the field hockey honoree.

During the 2025 season, Albee was named to the National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) All-America First Team and the All-PSAC First Team. Serving as team captain, she helped lead the Raiders to the 2025 PSAC and NCAA Division II championships.

Albee ranked second nationally and first in the PSAC in save percentage (.829) and third nationally and second in the PSAC in goals-against average (0.76). She led the nation with 12 shutouts and allowed one goal or fewer in 18 of Shippensburg’s 23 games.

This marks the first PSAC Top 10 Award of Albee’s career. She is the first Shippensburg field hockey athlete to receive the honor since Jenna Sluymer in the fall of 2021–22.

Albee joins cross country runner Garrett Quinan on the 2025–26 PSAC Fall Top 10 list. Shippensburg University has now earned 83 PSAC Top 10 Awards all-time, the second-most among conference institutions.
