Shippensburg Kindergarten Students to Begin School on Staggered Schedule

The Shippensburg Area School District will use a staggered start schedule for kindergarten students on Aug. 20 and 21.

Kindergarten students with last names beginning with A through K will attend a full day of school on Thursday, Aug. 20. They will not attend school on Friday, Aug. 21.

Kindergarten students with last names beginning with L through Z will not attend school on Aug. 20. Their first full day will be Friday, Aug. 21.

All kindergarten students will attend school beginning Monday, Aug. 24, and will follow the regular school calendar for the remainder of the school year.

The staggered schedule applies only to kindergarten students. Students in grades one through 12 will begin school on Thursday, Aug. 20.
