CHAMBERSBURG — Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying two women involved in a shoplifting incident at the Norland Avenue Target store earlier this month.

Chambersburg Police Department released two surveillance images today of people they would like to talk to about the May 17 incident. Police stress the individuals are “persons of interest, not suspects at this time.

According to police, two women walked into Target at sometime before 5:15 p.m. May 17 and took two large bags off the shelves then filled them with over $1,000 worth of merchandise.

The females were stopped by an employee and were told to leave the store.   

The persons shown in the photo released by police today may have information relevant to an ongoing police investigation.
