Meteorologists expect total accumulations of four to six inches in Franklin County and along the PA Turnpike. Chambersburg is in the path predicted to get the heaviest accumulation of snow. Snowfall should start at about 7 p.m. and continue through the night, ending around 5 a.m. Friday. PennDOT advises travelers to stay aware of the weather and drive safely if they must be on the road.
Expect a lowering of speed limits as snow accumulates.

Shalom Christian Academy – Closed
Cumberland Valley Christian School – 2 Hour Delay
Travel Restrictions
The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDot) is encouraging motorists that have to travel check their free 511PA app for any speed or vehicle restrictions, however, as of 7:30 Thursday PennDOT’s app and website was down.
