Photos and information obtained from Franklin Fire Company

Yesterday at 3 PM, emergency responders from Squad 41 were called to a scene on Country Road in the New Franklin area, where a large tree had collapsed into a residential structure. Upon arrival, the crew quickly assessed the situation, confirming that the fallen tree caused extensive damage to the house.

Fortunately, a thorough check by the responders confirmed that there were no injuries and no individuals trapped inside the affected home. After ensuring the safety of all potential occupants and securing the site, Squad 41 concluded their emergency response and returned to availability.

The incident underscores the importance of maintaining tree health and safety assessments, particularly in residential areas prone to severe weather conditions that could precipitate such accidents.
