Structure Fire Reported in McConnellsburg

Franklin Fire Company responded to its 54th structure fire of 2025 on Monday evening.

At approximately 5:30 p.m., Squad 41, staffed with six personnel, was dispatched as the first-due squad to a house fire on East Maple Street in McConnellsburg. Crews arrived to find fire showing from a single-wide mobile home.

Squad 41 positioned near the front door and assisted inside with overhaul operations. Firefighters continued opening up the structure and manned a hoseline to relieve initial crews. The squad operated on the scene for about one hour before returning to Franklin County.
