Port Royal Speedway hosted its 14th Annual Blue Collar Classic on Sunday, spotlighting local racers across three divisions. Nick Sweigart, Lane Snook, and Tony Jackson each captured feature wins during a night honoring grassroots competition.
In the Keystone RaceSaver Challenge for the Penns Valley Meat Market 305 sprint cars, Nick Sweigart claimed his third career title, becoming the first driver to do so in the event’s history. Sweigart held off Christian Rumsey, who momentarily took the lead with four laps to go, before Sweigart regained the top spot with two laps remaining. Dustin Young completed the podium.
In the PA Sprint Series Founder’s Cup, Jarrett Cavalet led all 15 laps from the pole to secure a starting spot in the 2026 RaceSaver Challenge.
For the Ron Zimmerman Tribute Race in the Zimmerman Truck Repair limited late model division, Lane Snook started on the pole and led all 25 laps to secure the $6,000 win—his first at Port Royal Speedway. He joins several family members in the track’s winner’s circle history, including his father Todd Snook and grandfather Butch Renninger. Ryan Zook and DJ Myers finished second and third, respectively.
In wingless sportsman competition, Tony Jackson earned the win after taking the lead with eight laps remaining. Jackson, who announced this would likely be his final season, overtook Billy Brian Jr. before Brian exited the race due to engine trouble. Cliff Brian Jr. finished second and Brett Perigo third.
Port Royal Speedway returns to action on Wednesday, July 2, featuring Weikert’s Livestock 410 sprint cars racing for $10,000 to win and United Racing Club 360 sprint cars for $2,000.
