Swing Fore Education at Annual Golf Tournament

The Chambersburg Area School District Foundation is having their 28th annual golf tournament to benefit education in the region. On May 2nd from 12:30-5PM at the Chambersburg Country Club, there will be a four-person scramble; shotgun start at 12:30pm. Registration, a complimentary driving range and putting green will open at 11am.

“The CASD Foundation’s annual golf tournament is just one of many ways our generous community steps up to support the teachers and students in our district. Sponsorships at any level are greatly appreciated”, said Angela Lynch, CASD Foundation Executive Director

Registration is $90 per golfer, which includes 18 holes at the Chambersburg County Club, greens fees, cart, starter bag, refreshments, a boxed lunch and dinner. Additional awards and prizes will also be given out. Prizes include $300 to the 1st place team, $200 to the 2nd place team and $100 to the 3rd place team.

Sponsorship Opportunities

Businesses and area organizations are encouraged to help by sponsoring the event. A variety of sponsorship options are available, such as the Platinum, Dinner, and Gold sponsors. Those also include tickets for the event for you to participate. Additional opportunities are available such as hole, registration and cart sponsorships.

Foundation Board President Katie Kough stated “Supporting this tournament is a win-win situation for everyone.  A great day on the golf course translates into great opportunities for CASD students to pursue their academic and career goals.”
