Fresh food with market reopening
While it’s still a little early for all the flavors of summer, the market’s vendors will have the fresh products of Spring.

While it’s still a little early for all the flavors of summer, the market’s vendors will have the fresh products of Spring.

Today is the last day of National Farmers Market Week. Celebrate at Chambersburg’s North Square Farmers Market, and show the market vendors how much value they bring to this market and to the community.

Events from July 11-18 will include Restaurant Week, virtual Acapella & Unplugged, Scoop-a-Palooza ice cream trail, North Square Farmers Market and more.

Times are a little different for the upcoming 2020 Summer season, but that hasn’t taken away an old favorite, North Square Farmers Market.

Starting May 23, the open-air site at 50 N. Main St. in downtown Chambersburg will be open, rain or shine, from 8 a.m. to noon Saturdays through Nov. 21.

A $2,000 donation by F&M Trust to the North Square Farmers Market will benefit the market’s neediest customers, according to Market Coordinator Jay Eury.
