The National Weather Service in State College PA has issued a severe thunderstorm Warning for southeastern Franklin County until 4:15 p.m.
Each year a dedicated group of volunteer weather spotters, known as Skywarn, provide National Weather Service offices across the country with important eyewitness information about tornadoes, flash floods and damaging thunderstorms.
Forecasters advise that strong winds may still blow down tree limbs this afternoon and evening, possibly causing isolated power outages. Driving could be difficult for high profile vehicles.
