Taylor Myers receives 2024 D2CCA All-America Honorable Mention

Taylor Myers, a senior outfielder from Shippensburg University, has received honorable mention on the 2024 Division II Conference Commissioners Association (D2CCA) All-America Team. This recognition marks Myers’ first national accolade, complementing her three-time D2CCA All-Region honors.

In the 2024 season, Myers led the Atlantic Region and the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) with 95 hits, ranking her fifth nationally. She posted a .436 batting average, placing her in the top 10 in the Atlantic Region and 31st nationally. Additionally, her 114 total bases were ranked 10th in the region and 7th in the PSAC.

During the 2024 NCAA Atlantic Regional Tournament, Myers had a batting average of .444, with 8 hits in 18 at-bats across five games. She also contributed with two walks, a hit-by-pitch, an RBI, and scored five runs.

Myers’ 95 hits are the second-most in a single season at Shippensburg University, while her 56 runs scored rank third in the school’s single-season records. She concludes her collegiate career holding the school record for career hits at 294 and is second in career runs with 190.

The D2CCA All-Region teams are selected by sports information directors from NCAA Division II Atlantic Region schools and conferences, with the All-America voting process considering the First Team honorees from each region.
