Technology meets nature at Renfrew this month. It’s Nature ID with your Smartphone, a class open to teens and adults Sept. 12.

From hikers to birders to beach-combers, everyone can be a naturalist, and record the wonders they find to share with others. With step-by-step guidance, participants will learn how to make and record observations in nature—and contribute to a database with over 48 million

Participants must have a smartphone connected to the internet. The class, Nature ID on the Go with your Smartphone, runs from 9-10:30 a.m. and is part of Renfrew’s Naturalist Discovery Series.

The class is open to adults and teens 15 years of age and older. The cost for the class is $12 for members and $15 for nonmembers. Class size is limited to 20. Pre-registration is required. Call 717-762-0373 or email [email protected]
