WAYNESBORO – State Rep. Paul Schemel (R-Franklin) will host a telephone town hall from 6:30-7:30 p.m. Thursday, July 18, to provide an update from the Capitol on the state’s 2019-20 budget.
Constituents with landline telephones in the 90th District will be receiving a call at about 6:30 p.m. with an option to join the town hall.

“I voted ‘no’ on the General Appropriations portion of the budget because it commits the Commonwealth to spend at an unsustainable rate. I welcome the opportunity to talk about the budget with those participating in the telephone town hall,” Schemel said.
The telephone town hall is part of Schemel’s outreach initiatives for 2019. Upcoming town hall meetings are as follows:
- Expanded Nurse Practice, Thursday, Sept. 12, 6:30-7:30 p.m., Waynesboro Hospital, Board Room, 501 E. Main St., Waynesboro.
- Universal Preschool, Thursday, Nov. 14, 6:30-7:30 p.m., Cumberland Valley Christian School, 600 Miller St., Chambersburg.
