Terry Kissinger, 68, of Fayetteville, PA went to be with the Lord in the morning hours of January 9, 2022.
She was born on June 28, 1953 in Dudley, Pennsylvania to the late John and Hazel (Hess) McCue.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Eric D. Kissinger, sisters Jean Houck and Ella Stouffer, son John Simmers, a son-in-law Brandon Cole, Sr., and her first husband George E. Simmers.
She leaves behind her children JoElla (Simmers) Cole of Fayetteville, Jessica (Simmers) Perez (Daren) of Richmond, VA, Heidi Plante (Paul) of Shippensburg, and daughter-in-law Penny Simmers of Waynesboro. Grandchildren Haley Simmers and Brandon Cole Jr. of whom she helped raise, Brianna Simmers who brought her much happiness in the last six months, Sincere McCray whom she enjoyed long talks with on the phone, Trent Simmers whom she loved his hair and knew he is NFL bound. Also Sabrina and Keith McNeil who she spent time with when they were younger.
Terry also leaves behind two sisters, Urcille Grove and Anna Fornwalt (Donald), nieces, nephews and cousins, all of whom she loved very much, as well as her grandpup Glock.
A memorial service for Terry will be held on Saturday, January 15, 2022, at 12 p.m., at the Kelso-Cornelius Funeral Home, St. Thomas, with friend and Pastor Ron Parr officiating.
The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service.
