The Shippensburg University chapter of The Hidden Opponent (THO) has scheduled a “Green Out” for several spring season sporting events to support student-athlete mental health awareness. THO, a national advocacy group, works to address the stigma within sports culture by fostering discussions and providing a community for student-athletes.
THO will host information tables at these events, and attendees are encouraged to wear green to show support. The scheduled events include:
- Tennis vs. Molloy at Robb Sports Complex on March 22 at 12 p.m.
- Softball doubleheader vs. West Chester at Robb Sports Complex on March 29 at 1 p.m.
- Lacrosse vs. Kutztown and Baseball doubleheader vs. Mansfield at Robb Sports Complex and Fairchild Field, respectively, on April 19 starting at 12 p.m.
- Track and Field’s Paul Kaiser Classic at Seth Grove Stadium on April 26 at 8:30 a.m.
