Chambersburg: Man with a warrant from DUI arrested

On 02/23/2022 Kelly Lee Sanders was found to be operating his vehicle while under the influence of alcohol.  Sanders BAC was .162%.  Sanders failed to respond to his summons to appear in court and is now wanted for the DUI charge and other summary traffic offenses. 

The Chambersburg Police Department arrested Sanders, Kelly Lee on Friday June 24, 2022.

Chambersburg: Rural King Retail Theft

On 6/23/2022, Chambersburg Police responded to Rural King on Wayne Ave for a reported retail theft after the fact. 

A white female wearing a blue dress was suspected of stealing multiple Milwaukee batteries with a value of over $500.00. 

Anyone with information is asked to submit a tip on Crimewatch or contact the Chambersburg Police Department.

The persons shown in the photo below may have information relevant to an ongoing police investigation. She is a person of interest, but not necessarily a suspect at this time.

Chambersburg: Criminal Mischief

On 06/21/2022, the Chambersburg Police Department responded to the 100 block of Garber St for criminal mischief. Sometime overnight, a rear window was broken out of a vehicle parked on the street.
