Three WellSpan Hospitals Recognized for Patient Safety

Three WellSpan Health hospitals have received the 2026 Excellence in Patient Safety Recognition from The Hospital and Healthsystem Association of Pennsylvania.

WellSpan York Hospital, WellSpan Chambersburg Hospital and WellSpan Good Samaritan Hospital were named recipients of the recognition.

The program recognizes top-performing Pennsylvania hospitals based on data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s National Healthcare Safety Network.

The data measures infection rates including central line-associated bloodstream infections, catheter-associated urinary tract infections and C. difficile infections.
