Thrilling Races and Dramatic Finishes at Port Royal Speedway Event

On June 16th, Port Royal Speedway hosted a thrilling open-wheel racing event featuring three divisions. The event was characterized by intense competition and dynamic races.

The evening began with the USAC National Sprint Cars race, where pole sitter Briggs Danner initially led the race. Brady Bacon, starting fourth, closely followed Danner until Danner crashed into the wall on lap 27, ending his race prematurely. Bacon took over the lead and secured victory, followed by CJ Leary and Alex Bright.

In the Weikert Livestock 410 sprint car series, pole sitter Justin Whittal led the entire race, marking his second career win at the venue. This win was particularly significant as it came shortly after a serious accident at the same track. Michael Walter finished second, and Kody Lehman, who started 18th, claimed third place.

The USAC Silver Crown race saw multiple lead changes, with the most crucial one occurring on the last lap’s final turn. Daison Pursley emerged victorious, marking his first career win in the division. Justin Grant and Brady Bacon completed the podium.

The next event at Port Royal Speedway is scheduled for June 22nd, featuring various sprint car divisions. More details can be found on the speedway’s official website or social media pages.
