Tractor Supply has come to Mercersburg.
On Thursday, August 25, around 40 business and community leaders gathered at the new Tractor Supply to help the Tuscarora Area Chamber of Commerce and store team members cut the ribbon and tour the brand new store.
Wendy Sokol, the General Manager welcomed everyone and talked about how busy the store already is for only recently opening.
Councilman Raymond Minton was present to represent the Borough of Mercersburg (the new store is right on the border of Peters Township and the Borough). The team from Herbruck’s Poultry Ranch Blue Springs Egg Farm even managed to find a large, Christmas Rooster at the store, which will adorn their new office.
This store has a unique addition to it, it has a “Pet Wash Station”. For $9.99 you can wash your animals, which also includes all of the supplies and even towels. According to their District Manager, they have seen pot belly pigs being bathed at those stations at other stores. They also have a drive thru pickup.
If you visit, they are located at 5748 Fort Loudon Road (across from Food Lion) and open 8 AM to 9 PM everyday but Sunday, which is 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
