Two Franklin County Telecommunicators Recognized with Stork Awards

The Franklin County Department of Emergency Services has recognized two night shift telecommunicators with Stork Awards for assisting in pre-hospital deliveries.

The first delivery occurred in May, and the second in June. In both cases, the telecommunicators provided instructions over the phone that helped guide successful births before emergency responders arrived.

The employees recognized for their role in the deliveries are Sherry and Payden.
