CVBA: Upcoming Ribbon Cuttings and Networking Events

Lots of exciting things are happening in Franklin County. New businesses are opening and opportunities to network, learn and grow your business are plenty.

The Cumberland Valley Business Alliance is a partnership between the Greater Chambersburg Chamber of Commerce and the Greencastle-Antrim Chamber of Commerce.

Here are some of the events happening over the next few months.

Come support the Franklin County Housing Authority and First Start Partnerships for their grand opening ribbon cutting ceremony.

Drayer Physical Therapy Open House
Tuesday, June 14
4:30 – 6:30 p.m. at 125 S. Antrim Way, Suite 103, Greencastle
Join us for the ribbon cutting/open house at Drayer Physical Therapy! The ribbon will be cut at 4:45 p.m.

Lunch & Learn: Change Your World

Join The Boys & Girls Club along with REEL PD on June 7th as we discuss how we can make a difference in the world, based on thoughts from “Change Your World” by John Maxwell. Lunch provided courtesy of Subway!

Lunch & Learn is held at the Chambersburg Chamber of Commerce board room, 100 Lincoln Way East, Chambersburg. Lunch & Learns are free to attend for CVBA members but registration is required. Greencastle Sidewalk Days

The 55th Annual Greencastle Sidewalk Days is scheduled for Friday and Saturday, July 8 & 9, 2022. This two-day event runs from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday and from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday. G-ACC is looking forward to two great days of activities, food, and entertainment! We hope you can join us!

CVBA Economic Development Breakfast

Join us for the Economic Development Breakfast on July 21, 7 a.m. – 9 a.m. at Green Grove Gardens where we will honor our members for their 2021 accomplishments. The breakfast will feature an awards presentation, property improvement recognition, and guest speaker Mike Ross of Franklin County Area Development Corp.

CVBA Lunch & Learn: How Habitat Works

Join us Tuesday, July 26th from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. at The Greater Chambersburg Chamber of Commerce, 100 Lincoln Way E, Chambersburg, PA 17201 to learn what qualifies a family for Habitat housing, how volunteers and donors make a difference in their local communities and how Habitat recycles money and materials to build the next house. 

CVBA Lunch & Learn: Stocks – The Nuts and Bolts by Edward Jones

As you consider your long-term financial goals, how do stocks measure up? This seminar shares basic information to help evaluate how stocks may fit into an overall strategy. We’ll discuss and review common versus preferred stock, dividends, investment strategy, and different ways to own stock. Presented by Andrew Given, Edward Jones Branch Office Administrator
