With the gates set to open in less than two weeks, Uprise Festival, one of the premier Christian music festivals in the nation, is counting down to its 2026 return on September 11-12 at the Shippensburg Community Fairgrounds. The two-day event will feature more than 40 artists and speakers, headlined by six-time GRAMMY winner Brandon Lake, multiplatinum rock band Skillet, seven- time GRAMMY winner TobyMac, and 18-time GRAMMY winner and gospel music legend CeCe Winans, with Christian music fan favorite Crowder and many more.
This year’s headliners arrive at Uprise fresh off a landmark year in Christian and gospel music:
Brandon Lake: Fresh off winning his sixth GRAMMY Award earlier this year for “Hard Fought Hallelujah,” Brandon Lake is in the middle of one of the hottest runs in Christian music, powered by his chart-topping album King of Hearts and anthems including “That’s Who I Praise” and “Gratitude.” Lake takes the Uprise stage Saturday, September 12.
Skillet: One of the best-selling rock bands of the century, multiplatinum trailblazers Skillet bring two decades of arena-shaking hits, from “Monster” and “Feel Invincible” to their recent single “Scream,” as they celebrate the 20th anniversary of their landmark album Comatose. Skillet headlines Friday, September 11.
TobyMac: A seven-time GRAMMY winner and Christian music icon, TobyMac arrives at Uprise behind his acclaimed album Heaven On My Mind and its runaway title track with Forrest Frank. TobyMac performs Friday, September 11.
CeCe Winans: Gospel royalty CeCe Winans extended her record-setting career this year with her 18th GRAMMY Award for “Come Jesus Come,” adding to a catalog that includes the modern worship staple “Goodness of God.” Winans brings her celebrated live show to Uprise on Saturday, September 12.
“There’s something special about the Uprise Family coming together,” said Uprise Festival Director Scott Brown. “It’s more than a music festival, it’s an experience.” “My favorite thing about Uprise has always been the fans,” John Cooper of Skillet recently added. “They’ve always been extremely energetic.”
Beyond the main stage, the festival will include music across multiple stages, along with a kids program, petting zoo, inflatables, vendors, and other activities designed to create a full weekend experience for families, youth groups, churches, and fans.
