Urgent Recall Alert for Nuna Rava Child Seats

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has announced a safety recall for certain Rava child seats by Nuna Baby Essentials, Inc. The recall affects seats manufactured between July 16, 2016, and October 25, 2023, identified by NHTSA Recall ID Number 24C002.

The recall stems from an issue where debris can infiltrate the front harness adjuster’s plastic button, potentially causing the mechanism to malfunction. In the event of a crash, a defective adjuster could fail to securely restrain the child, significantly increasing the risk of injury.

Nuna is offering a free remedy kit to address and rectify the issue, although a schedule for the recall notification has not yet been established by the manufacturer. Seat owners are advised to immediately check if their model is affected and to contact Nuna customer service at 1-855-686-2891 or by email at info.usa@nunababy.com for further assistance and to receive their remedy kit.
