Vehicle Accident with Entrapment on Briar Lane

Yesterday evening, emergency crews from Squad 7 and Engine 7-1 responded to a vehicle accident in the 300 block of Briar Lane. Upon arrival, Squad 7 found a vehicle on its side with the driver trapped inside.

Using Res-Q-Jack struts and a grip-hoist, the team stabilized the vehicle. Crews then employed AMKUS Ion tools to extricate the occupant quickly. The individual was handed over to EMS for medical care.

There were no further details about the condition of the driver.
